Altered Surface & Resin
In this hands on workshop learn this innovative new technique in jewelry to provide layers of wax and resin while imbedding symbolism, color and unique style. Roll up your sleeves and get ready to rub, blend, layer and sgraffito with wax, beeswax, iced enamels for gorgeous colors of stone, metal, glint and brilliance and set using a low heat. Build and fill ready made industrial bezels and sheet metal with color and neutrals in layers to obtain an ancient look of an artifact. Secondly, using a pre-made resin cast object as your base to create an altered object. Explore surface techniques such as matte surface, layers of color rubs, and even paint to create color, design, texture on resin objects and metal.
Additional Kit fee* - 20.00 includes copper disc, industrial bezel form, resin objects, ice resin, iced enamels, mica and all colors and wax to create layers.
