Lieschen Harshbarger shows you how to create a beautiful blended and layered background using Simon Hurley Dye Inks & Lunar Paste to make this stunning card.

Instructions

Hi, crafty friends! I had so much fun making this Christmas card using Simon Hurley’s Christmas Silhouettes stamp set and Stitched Snowflakes background stamp. I also used some of my favorite color combos from Simon Hurley’s growing ink collection. I hope you have fun learning from this tutorial!

Step 3: Apply a thin layer of Clear Skies Lunar Paste onto Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink Cardstock Black Matte. Then stamp Simon Hurley create. Background Stamp Stitched Snowflakes onto the Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink Cardstock Black Matte. This cardstock can be put aside for later use. Whatever is left of the Lunar Paste on the Stitched Snowflakes stamp, lightly spritz some water onto the stamp, and stamp it onto the front panel that was inked from Step 2.
